A film about the life in a wheelchair does not stop...
Exactly one week after Arc de Triomphe at Paris square Charlese de Gaull had welcomed the finish of the hardest cycling race Tour de France, this monument witnessed another sport victory. On Saturday August 1st 2009 Czech handbiker Heřman Volf rode under its majestic arch. From Prague to Paris he rode 1355 kilometres in 17 days.
A documentary film "Heřman – Way to Dream" tells about a mosaic made of a will, friendship, refusing to accept bad luck, but also of a longing to show other people with similar injury, that life dreams do not have to disappear, if you sit on a wheelchair…
The film was crated in support of the Czech State Fund for support and development of Czech cinematography and under the patronage of Fundation Konto Bariéry and Centre Paraple.

The film "Herman - Way to Dream" won Honorable Mention for journalistic work in 2010 from the Government Committee for People with Disabilities.
